It was big news for the Android community when Microsoft announced that they will be joining in the game to battle for their fair share of the mobile world. It may, some have said, have been a late entry but supporters are saying that it is better late than never. Whether it will survive the ever-changing world of mobile devices and Android apps, we shall see.
What got people buzzing was the launch of a brand new game for Android called Kinectimals. The game app was first made available to iOS and Windows so, we are just happy that we can check the app out now and see what the hype is all about. The game, aimed at younger children, seems to have gotten quite a fair bit of good reviews for other platforms like the Xbox. Basically, the game lets users play with animals and the more they play with the animals, the bigger the animal family gets in islands called Lemuria and Mira. It was reviewed that kids can get very attached to their pets or animals.
Gamers play will their animals and occasionally get to play mini games and accept challenges to earn coins and points to buy virtual items for their pets. What is really nice is that the app lets the kids take pictures of their animals and save them on the device.
Microsoft also, recently, showed immense support for Android Operating System by releasing Xbox Live for Android. It seems that there will be more new stuff revealed by the said company as they struggle to stay relevant in the mobile community.
The game can be downloaded from Google Play Store for USD2.99 and some are saying that it is worth every cent of it. Give it a try and let us know what you think.
