What Does QR Code and Fashion, Beauty Industry Have In Common?
What does the QR Code industry have in common with the beauty industry? Quite literally nothing, some would say.
However, we beg to differ. The fashion and beauty industry is extremely prone to and sensitive to change, and so is mobile phone technology and QR Codes. Because both industries are extremely volatile when it comes to fads and changes, do you think both the industries can work together to help each other out or cross-promote? Most definitely!
Marketing strategies in the fashion and beauty industry almost always involve a huge amount of word-of-mouth and sharing of information. As we all know, online tools like Facebook and Twitter is already doing that but when it comes to linking the online world with the offline one, QR Codes does it best.
As we can see now, Americans are slowly adapting to the new technology (which isn’t very new in Japan) and that is incredibly good news to us, the team back here in http://www.beqrious.com, It excites us even more as more people share the QR Codes fashionable QR Codes that they spot along the way. One good example would be Manhattan. Well, not just in Manhattan but also in many other parts of Asia and Europe.
The brand name Beanpole recently held a smart-phone-friendly event, encouraging smart phone users to scan a red stylish bag-shaped-like red QR Code during the event. After scanning the code, users are asked to key in a ‘lucky number’ to win prizes. The strategy is to entice users with a contest, which is one of the most efficient ways to market a brand, product or service.
Suffice to say, at this point in time, most smart phone users may not be interested in scanning QR Codes if they were placed there purely for marketing purposes. However, they may be MORE interested if there was something in it for them.
